One of the most romantic cities in all of
Rajasthan, Udaipur is better Known as city of lakes nestled in the Aravali
ranges. It's environs offer an ethereal domain of Beautitude and wonder. Beauty
of its dens and glens, placid lakes and their steel blue waters, resplendent
glory of the setting sun, behind the green and lofty hills, exquisite old
temples and places, history replete with thrilling tales of bravery and self
sacrifices, academic atmosphere provided by the University and scores of
academic institutions, requisite amenities of transport, hotels etc. And last
but not the least, an equable salubrious climate and perfect atmosphere for
retreat and relaxation makes Udaipur a perfect tourist haunt and a must
itinerary for a globe trotter. |

Beautiful as well as maintained campus and facilities provides a true academic
ambience to the Faculty, Students, and researchers. Total carpet areas of the
campus is 15000 Sq. Ft. along with just double open lush green space. |

LIBRARY |
|
Profound Knowledge base of a business school is undoubtedly
its Library. The quest for the knowledge must always culminate to the right set
of intelligence and through relevant Books. Being the best B- School Library in
Rajasthan, is one distinguishing point FMS has over other Institutes. |

With a stock of over 10,000 books on diverse functions and topics, it is indeed
a reader's Paradise. the library subscibes to about 30 Journals and Periodicals,
both Indian and International ones such as Harvard Business Review, The
Economist, Economic & Political weekly, Time, Business Today, A&M to
name a few. Also this is well supplemented by newspapers, both business and
general, to help students keep abreast with the changing trends in the markets. |

Fully AC Library along with
cubicles for faculty & researchers is under construction and will soon come into
existence which is one of its type in the state of Rajasthan.
The students has access to the Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Central Library,
which also houses more than 1.1 Lac books on different
subjects. |

The faculty has a well maintained Computer Lab with the latest
windows based environment |

Personal computers with the latest
Pentium 4 processors, CD- Writers, Color Monitors along with relevant softwares like MS-Office XP Package,
Visual Studio, Java, Oracle, SQL and SPSS (a must for any MBA Student).
Further the Lab is Supported by Laser, Deskjets and Dot Matrix Printers,
Scanners and also with a Photo copier to help students enhance his skills.

This proverb was the inspiration behind the
Recreation Room at FMS. This Houses the facility of Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess
etc. with a support of Badminton and volley ball, so that the students can
refresh themselves between hectic schedules of Study.
Also the students have access to University Gymnasium which is a stone's throw
distance from the faculty. It houses Table Tennis, Badminton and other Indoor
Games.

|
Overall Personality Development is one of the motive of a B-School. So, these
are few activities that brings about the best in a young management graduate
from FMS. Right from planning to implementation, such occasions always prove to
be the platform for honing of such qualities required in a manager.
Horizon
:
This is a regular National level Inter B-School
Youth Festival Organised every year during the month of October - November by
the students of FMS. In this three day event many Academic and Cultural
Activities happen.
Kriti
:
Students from Management Institute across India
are Invited to prepare print Ads for Companies short Listed on basis of themes
offered by them.
Bayant
Singh Dhillon Memorial, Inter-management Institute Quiz Competition :
This is a regional level Business Quiz
competition organized by FMS on yearly basis. Being a stricly Business Quiz at
Management Institute level, it attracts only the creme-de-la-creme among
participants ready to fight a battle of intellect and knowledge based on the
current business scenario.
Fleissend:
"Small Mind Discuss People, Average
Mind Discuss Events, Great Mind Discuss Ideas"
A daily hourly club conducted &
managed by the students. "Fleissend" in german means "Fluency". The
club provides the opportunities to the students for presentations on various
topics, discussions, case studies, quiz, debates and extempore etc.

a).
au-fait
A fortnightly newsletter, containing various on the campus news articles, poems
and important happenings.
In french
au-fait essentially means "To the Point" and so is the newsletter.
b).
Prabandh
The Annual Management Journal of FMS, Udaipur contains articles and research
papers by various management experts, academicians & consultants in addition to
faculty members. The mailing list of Journal is 500 Plus.
c).
Tulika
The students in - house magazine published annually. It is a leaflet of the
prominent activities of the students of FMS and also contains articles on
advertising and other marketing fields. |
