Summer Training

At the end of MBA 2-Semester, all students will have to undergo summer training of 8  weeks with an industrial, business or service organization by taking up a project study.  The conditions of successful completion the programme shall not be deemed to have been satisfied unless a student undergoes summer training under the supervision of the Department in organizations as approved by the Faculty from time to time. Each student will be required to submit a project report to the Faculty  for the work under taken during this period within three weeks of the commencement of the 4-Semester.

 
PROCEDURE OF ADMISSION

Students are selected on basis of RMAT which is conducted for taking admission in Management Institutes of Rajasthan.

Summer Training

Each student will be required to submit a project report to the Faculty  for the work under taken during this period within three weeks of the commencement of the MTM final year for the Purpose of evaluation in the final year.

 
 

PROCEDURE OF ADMISSION

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test.  The entrance test will consists of Written test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

          All seats, excepts the seats reserved for the 'business sponsored candidates' shall be filled in order of merit prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written test, group discussion, personal interview and academic career.

Written test :

          The written test will consists of objectives type questions on English, General Knowledge, General Mental Aptitude and Basic mapthematical ability.  There will be special emphasis on History, Culture, Geography, and Tourist Attractions of India.

          This test will carry 200 marks.  The distribution of questions will be as under-

English language proficiency                                50 Marks

Mental aptitude  & reasoning                               50 Marks

General knowledge                                             50 Marks

Basic mathematical ability                                    50 Marks

                                                                       200 Marks

Group Discussion and Personal Interview :

          The second phase of selection procedure involves participation in group discussion and personal interview before a selection committee to be constituted by the Director, for the purpose.

          The topics for discussion will be of general interest and the candidates will be observed to evaluate their communication skills, conceptual clarity, argumentative style, mental flexibility and intellectual awareness.  Group discussion will carry 25 marks.

          Personal interview is meant to be personality probe and a cross check on the depth of general understanding and knowledge of the area of study.  Personal Interview will also carry 25 marks.

          A candidate shall have to appear in both the group discussion and personal interview.  If a candidate does not participate in either of the two, he/she will be disqualified.

Academic Career:

          The past academic career will be given a weight of 50 marks to be distributed as under:

10+2                             20 marks      (For 100% marks)

Bachelor's Degree         30 marks      (For 100% marks)

          In case a candidate has more Bachelor degrees, the first Bachelor will be considered.

No weight age will be given for Masters Degree as the Tourism Industry needs professionals with minimum age.  Secondly, The EQ for this course is Graduation.
